All About "BRIDGERTON" #1

 Recently i've been watching a Netflix original series called BRIDGERTON. I'm very interested in the series when the first season aired on Netflix. The BRIDGERTON series was based on a novel by Julia Quinn, in total there is 9 books that Julia Quinn wrote about the Bridgerton Family. 

Basically the book was set in the regency era and each book tells a story about each Bridgerton sibling, their love story, their ups and down in life, and others. For example like the first book with the title "The Duke And I" it tells a love story between the first daughter in the Bridgerton Family and the Duke of Hastings, it is Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Basset. The first book also tells a story about other character like Penelope Featherington, Lady Whistledown, Anthony Bridgerton, Marina Thompson, Collin Bridgerton, and other characters. 

By the way the first season of the BRIDGERTON series on Netflix is based on the story from the first book!

What made me interested is that the story is really different from other period drama and also it gave me a new perspective. there are a lot of perspective in this series because there are so many characters, and every character have a story of their own. Not only the story is good but this series is also supported by costumes and make-up of their characters which really describe their personality. Maybe in the next post i will discussed about the regency era fashion and culture ^-^, what do you think ? Don't forget to comment down below!

The unique thing about this series can also be seen from the vocabulary they use everyday in the series. They use regency era Vocabs, for example "Diamond of the first water" this idiom means "A woman of exceptional virtue and purity" because a diamond is the most exceptional gem and first water means "Fine quality".  And in my opinion we can learn English from this series and also add new knowledge about the regency era and add new vocabulary too.
